The Madrid Work & Organizations Workshops are research meetings that Rocío Bonet (IE Business School), Marta Elvira (IESE Business School), Eduardo Melero (Carlos III University) and I have been organizing since 2011. The workshops take place annually and rotate through the three organizing schools.
Our purpose is to bring together scholars who conduct research in strategic human capital, industrial relations, organizational behavior, personnel economics, and related fields. The workshops are an informal forum to discuss research in progress and to foster collaboration -an excellent setting to receive feedback for ongoing projects, as the publications that have followed presentation attest to.
The next workshop will take place on May 23-24, 2024 at Carlos III University, Madrid-Puerta de Toledo Campus. The keynote speakers will be Alan Benson (Carlson School of Business, University of Minnesota), Christiane Bode (Imperial College London) and John C. Dencker (D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University).
