Associate Professor of Management at Carlos III
University in Madrid, Spain.
My research seeks to understand the economic costs and benefits of alternative human resource policies.
When organizations think about improving individual incentives, they are confronted with numerous questions about how employees should be rewarded and jobs designed. Economic incentives can be very powerful but can also generate distortions. Moreover, incentives interact with other elements of organizational design. Such is (broadly speaking) the main focus of my research.
